Titleist TPI
Titleist created the Titleist Performance Institute in 2003 to study and understand the mechanics of the golf swing.
A Scientific Study
The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) has collected data from a wide range of golfers of all abilities, sizes, dexterity and levels of fitness to understand the optimum way the human body can be employed to create a good golf swing.
The information has enabled a picture of a good swing to be created and in addition identify the destructive moves inherent in so many poor swings.
Here are examples of typical moves which can be corrected with TPI techniques.
What can TPI do for me?
Due to our different body sizes, shapes and range of movement there is a wide range of swing styles. However, players can, by using TPI techniques, focus on the most efficient swing for the individual based on the player's capabilities.
Once assessed, a personalised TPI programme including fitness training, coaching of swing mechanics and biomechanics, nutrition, mental strategy can be planned.
