Stunning Ballycastle hosts US Kids North Of Ireland Spring Local Tour
The US Kids North Of Ireland Spring Local Tour rolled into the stunning Ballycastle Golf Club in the beautiful seaside town with spectacular views of Scotland in the distance.
A total of 62 US Kids competitors played in mixed conditions over the excellent Ballycastle course. Players were treated to spectacular views of Rathlin and Scotland in the distance. The golf was also spectacular with some players holding on to their Order of Merit positions and others challenging and moving up the table in their age groups.
It is great to see the entry increasing with each event with players from all over Ireland and Scotland represented.
Tour Director Zoe Allen commented on Ballycastle's first US Kids Local Tour event.
Ballycastle provided the warment of welcomes to the North of Ireland Spring Local Tour. The young players enjoyed the mix of parkland and links holes. I would like to thank Ballycastle Golf Club for hosting the event, the members who volunteered on the day and especially Damien McEvoy the Club Professional for his help and advice on setting up the course . The North of Ireland Summer Tour will return to Ballycastle later in the year.
